Ron Paul Presidential Campaign Rally in San Antonio

On Saturday, July 28, 2007, Congressman Ron Paul (R-TX) held a fundraiser dinner at the Buckhorn Museum in San Antonio. I was one of about 500 people who attended to support his bid for the presidency in 2008.

Meeting Ron Paul Ron Paul admires coffee cup Meeting Michael Badnarik Michael Badnarik signs book
I finally had the privilege of meeting Dr. Paul in person! What a great man. I presented him with a coffee cup I designed. It shows a picture of the US Constitution and says, "When all else fails, read the instructions!" This cup is for sale at CafePress, and all profits will go to the Ron Paul presidential campaign.
I also had the opportunity to meet another one of my heroes, Michael Badnarik. I voted for him in 2004, when he ran for president on the Libertarian Party ticket. He had donated a copy of his book Good to Be King: The Foundation of our Constitutional Freedom, which I won at the auction for $100. Mr. Badnarik autographed it for me.
Here's a video I made to show some of the people who were there. You'll see all shapes, sizes, ages & ethnicities. Looks like America to me...
And here a couple more pictures of the event...
